Snowshoe is one of the premier ski resorts of the East Coast, and this year both middle and high schoolers have the opportunity to ski on some of the best runs this side of the Blue Ridge!

To get in a full 2 days of skiing (I promise everyone will sleep soundly on the ride home!) we’ll be leaving early Friday morning, ski Saturday and Sunday, and drive back home Monday. We do require that students miss school on Friday, but I assure you that their growth in experience, fellowship, and spiritual understanding more than makes up for one day of academic education!

What Does This Have To Do With God?

Everything! Christ performed over 75%  of his miracles outside of city walls, and only one miracle was performed in a church. We believe that Christ’s ministry is one we should model out in the church, and taking students away from their homes, school, stresses, and secular world is one of the best ways we can follow that model.

“I have come that you might have life, and have it to the full.” John 10:10

Skiing is an incredible adventure where students have the unique opportunity to stretch themselves physically, emotionally, and spiritually in a way that truly lives life to the full.

Who Can Go?

While this is a youth trip, it is certainly not limited just to our students! We welcome families and adults (this is a great way to get a family vacation at a reduced rate!) and love to incorporate them into our trip!

$300 Is A Lot Of Money!

Don’t panic! (yes, that was a Douglas Adams quip for whoever caught it) The youth do several fundraisers a year to support the ministry, and we do everything we can to never turn a student away from an experience like this based on money.

Don’t let that be an excuse. 

But I Don't Know How To Ski!

We’ll teach you! There are several leaders going who are more than proficient in skiing, and more than willing to pass on their skillz! (yes, crazy skillz with a ‘z’)

Snowshoe is an excellent place to learn to ski, with slopes ranging from bunny to black diamond. There is something for everyone!
